ELVIS' OPENING NIGHT “INVITED GUEST ONLY” 1969 MENU
More Pictures |

|
Elvis' Opening Night “Invited Guest” only 1969 Menu from the International Hotel, Las Vegas NV with color photo of Elvis in the die cut. This is the rarest of all menus due to the fact that it was given out only to the opening night “invited guests”. What makes this particular menu so unique is the fact that when you open it up on the left hand side of the inside of the menu it is printed: “INTERNATIONAL HOTEL 1969 LAS VEGAS ”. There is no wine list as in the menu handed out to the paying customers. Plus, on the right hand side just under the color photo of Elvis are the words “BON APETIT” and the selection for the evenings dinner in French. In the menu handed out to the paying customers all the text is in English and offers a selection of entrees. This menu was purchased from the collection of world renowed collector Mr. Sheriff Hana. From what we both have gathered, is, that the Colonel had this menu designed for the "invited guest" to the opening show on July 31, 1969. Since the evening was “comped” there was no need to show pricing or offering a selection of wines, since Wine and Champaign was served that evening complimentary. THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT THE RAREST OF ALL MENUS. A selected number were printed and given out to the "invited guest". Menu is in near mint condition, with minor bend in lower right and upper right corners. Color is rich black texture. For the remainder of the engagement a smaller and totally different menu was used.
Price $5,000 - SOLD
