Following is the Letter of Authenticity signed by Mr. Ed Bonja. |
|
The “ELVIS Extra Special Show” poster was printed by Colonel Parker to promote this performance. Poster is printed on heavy, glossy stock paper and measures 16” x 19”. It reads in full: “ELVIS Extra Special Show by Popular Demand Sunday Morning, Sept. 2nd AT 3:00 AM Make Your Reservations NOW.” I was responsible for having my staff post them up throughout the hotel lobby at the Las Vegas Hilton. In many instances the minute we put one up, it was removed by a fan, and we then, had to put up another one. This represents one from my personal collection and is in mint condition. Between 1970 and 1977, it was my distinct pleasure to work in many different capacities for Colonel Tom Parker and Elvis Presley: as Official Photographer for the Elvis Presley show, as concession Manager for the Elvis Presley show, and as Colonel Parker's Administrative Assistant, to name only a few. In one capacity, I was employed by Colonel Parker, while in all other capacities, I was an independent contractor.
